As a Christian homeschooler, your best homeschooling resource (after the Bible, of course) is other like-minded homeschoolers. By becoming a member of CHEAGD, you'll be joining a large, local group of homeschooling families who are willing to share their diverse educational experiences with you. Through our e-mail list, our monthly newsletter, and the members-only portion of our website, you will be informed, encouraged, and hopefully inspired. You will also have the opportunity to share your experiences and questions with others.
We also offer the following:
- A monthly gathering of CHEAGD families, with the purpose of providing classes for children from birth to high school. The goal is to enrich the lives of our children, expose them to learning experiences that are possibly best received in a classroom setting, and to give all of us an opportunity to know other homeschooling families.
- Field Trips
- CHEAGD tries to plan one or two field trips a month from September through May. These field trips are for CHEAGD members only. Please read the Field Trips Guidelines before participating in a field trip. Be sure to check the Calendar for scheduled trips.
- Throughout the academic year, CHEAGD plans various parties, service activities and opportunities to be involved.
- CHEAGD maintains a free lending library for use by members. It includes books, videos, software and some dissection models.
