Moms' Encouragement Tea

Once a year the CHEAGD moms get together for Saturday afternoon tea and fellowship time. We typically host this tea during the February and March doldrums when we all need extra encouragement to press on and finish the year. We invite a speaker who heartens us as Christians, moms, and home schoolers. Table hostesses provide beautiful settings and special touches that make this a fun and enjoyable event. We all bring special foods and laughter to share.

Carver Living Center

CHEAGD has an ongoing service project at Carver Living Center. CLC is a skilled nursing home whose residents have varying levels of needs and abilities. Members of CHEAGD share their God given talents with the residents of CLC. The sharing can be anything that you prayerfully are led to do. Examples have included singing, playing an instruments, reciting poetry, or just sitting with residents. To get involved, please email clc@cheagd.org.

CHEAGD Art Show

An annual event usually held in the spring at the Downtown Library Children’s room or the North Durham Regional Library.

Book Orders

CHEAGD coordinates book orders for members using Scholastic Books.
